SRINAGAR – In worst act of state terrorism, Indian troops martyr four moreKashmiri youth in fake encounters.
In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorismmartyred two more youth in Ganderbal district, today, raising the toll tofour in less than 48 hours in the occupied territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were killed by Indian troopsduring a cordon and search operation in Gund area of the district. Theoperation in progress,” said an Indian army spokesman in Srinagar.
Earlier, the troops had martyred two youth in Bandipore district, takingthe toll to four in the past forty-eight hours.
In occupied Kashmir, military lockdown and restrictions continue on 100thconsecutive day in Kashmir valley and Muslim majority areas of Jammu andLadakh following the August 5 Indian illegal decision to abrogate specialstatus of occupied Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, restrictions under Section 144 and banon prepaid phone, SMS and internet services remain enforced.
As a mark of silent protest, people in the Valley continue to keep theirshops closed except for a brief period in the morning and evening and stayaway from schools and offices.
