LAHORE – The Pakistan Hockey faces a big blow as the poor planning hasresulted in cancellation of international tournament in Pakistan.
Pakistan Hockey Open Series scheduled for September 26-30 in Lahore hasbeen postponed.
Owing to faulty planning, the Pakistan Hockey Federation could not attractBangladesh and Afghanistan to the event.
The PHF had invited Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Omanand Qatar, but the latter three refused to participate in the event.
Meanwhile, Minister for Inter-Provincial Harmony Fehmida Mirza took noticeof the matter and said that no one will be allowed to play politics in thefederation.
