ISLAMABAD: A viral video clip has ignited explosive debate across the Middle East after a senior Bahraini diplomat openly declared that Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency maintains a presence in the tiny Gulf kingdom.

Sheikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s undersecretary for political affairs, made the admission during the 2022 Munich Security Conference in the presence of Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz.
“There is intelligence cooperation between Bahrain and Israel. Mossad is in Bahrain and they’re present in the region,” Al Khalifa stated bluntly, according to multiple reports from regional and international outlets.
