Pakistan Muslim League-N’s central leader, Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha, hasstated that if foreign funding allegations against PTI are proven, theirelectoral symbol will be discontinued.
The Election Commission is currently examining the foreign funding case. IfPTI is not receiving a level playing field, it’s the result of theiractions, and the announcement of the election date will come soon.
Speaking on a Geo News program, he mentioned that it’s clear in theElection Act that disqualification should occur, and Nawaz Sharif willcontest the elections. He has no information about any deal, and he doesn’tknow if PTI Chairman expressed a desire to leave the country.
The PTI Chairman cannot go out of the country; his involvement in certaincrimes does not permit leaving the country. The 9 May incident was a partof a well-structured plan, and if there’s a deal, incidents like 9 Maywon’t be stopped. He added that serious cases are pending against ImranKhan, which is why he can’t get the relief he’s seeking from PEMRA.
The Election Commission has the authority to announce the election date,and elections will be held within 90 days because the constituencies havebeen delimited.
