*QUETTA – Part of Balochistan was left into darkness as the electricity wassuspended across at least 8 districts of the province.*
*National Transmission and Distribution Company’s 220KV transmission linesdeveloped a fault resulting into electricity shutdown.*
The affected areas include Quetta, Sibbi, Bolan, Mastong, Noshki, Chagi,Pashin and Kila Abdullah.
According to QESCO officials, the fault developed at around 1am on Thursdayafter which the 220KV transmission line tripped, suspending power supply toeight districts of the province.
Temporarily, power supply to Quetta has been restored from an alternativesource.
The authorities are working and power supply will be restored soon, saidQESCO spokesperson.
