ISLAMABAD – Nawaz Sharif lawyet on Monday has requested the Islamabad HighCourt to transfer Al-Azizia Steel Mill and Flagship Investment referencesto other court.
The hearing was resumed in Islamabad High Court (IHC) after a plea wassubmitted by Nawaz Sharif.
The petition claimed that all references are not same, so they should betransferred to other court.
Meanwhile, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor has opposed thedemand to change the judge of the case.
Earlier, Accountability court had rejected ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’splea seeking transfer of flagship and Al-Azizia references to another court.
Justice Mohammad Bashir said that Supreme Court (SC) or high court isauthorized to transfer any case.
