ISLAMABAD – Imran Khan in his speech to the parliamentary party meeting inIslamabad has said that My focus was not to become an MNA or a primeminister.

“The issues over which the nation voted us into power need to be addressedon priority,” he further said.

Imran was also quoted as saying,”The country is in an economic crisis andwe need to steer it out of it.”

“We will approach overseas Pakistanis for repayment of debts,” he added.

The committee is also expected to nominate leaders on key posts.

PTI will announce senior party leader Qureshi as their candidate for thepost of National Assembly speaker.

Imran convinced him to take the post owing to his experience as aparliamentarian which puts him in a position to deal with the activeopposition,” sources said.

“Imran Ismail is likely to be announced governor Sindh during the meeting,”sources said.
