NEW DELHI: Former Pakistan team captain and Legendary Cricketer Wasim Akram attacked by Hindu Extremists during a live TV programme in Mumbai, India.
Wasim Akram was speaking about Aussie-Indo match when suddenly a group of Hindu Extremists thrashed him.
Extremists shut down the camera and also targeted the camera crew.
The footage of the incident went viral on social media and a large no. of his fans condemned the attack.
Earlier, Wasim Akram was disappointed from merciless terrorist attack in Lahore which killed at least 71 and wounded hundreds.
He tweeted “Due to this merciless attack in my country, I have ceased all work commitments tonight. My heart is with my hometown. Stay strong #Lahore”
He also claimed to support Pakistan team back on its feet but PCB didn’t welcome him.
He said “If some members do not want the chairman to consult me or seek my advice on appointment of a new coach why is this, I think it is because they do not want to see anything improving in our cricket.”
