AHMEDABAD: She is the daughter of a ‘martyred’ BSF officials who died in the line of duty, Zee News has reported.
On Friday, Rupal Tadvi, a 26-year-old tribal woman, rushed to meet Gujarat Chief Minister while he was addressing a rally at Kevadia Colony in the Narmada. However, before she could have reached the CM, she was taken away by woman police officials.
According to local police, the woman has been protesting for last several years alleging that the government did not allot her family the piece of land that they had promised to, after the demise of her father Ashok Tadvi.
As Rupani was addressing the public, she ran towards his stage, shouting, “I want to meet him, I want to meet him.” The woman police officials took her away.
Seeing this, Rupani announced from the stage that he will meet her after the programme.
As per reports, the Chief Minister left for his destination without meeting the woman.
