1400 ceasefire violations by India in 2018 have martyred 30 civilians across border in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office Spokesman, Dr Muhammad Faisal has said that theIndian forces have carried out more than 1400 ceasefire violations alongthe Line of Control and the Working Boundary so far this year.

This he said during a weekly briefing in Islamabad on thursda. He said thatIndian Deputy High Commissioner was summoned on second of this month tocondemn the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forcesalong the Line of Control in Mandal Sector, resulting in the martyrdom ofone innocent civilian.

Dr Faisal informed that in the 1400 ceasefire violations, at least 30civilians have died in its wake.

FO spokesman added that despite rampant Indian state terrorism, Kashmirisin the held territory observed a complete strike against Indian attempts toabrogate Article 35-A in an effort to strip Kashmiris of their permanentresident status. He termed it a complete violation of the numerous UNSCResolutions and international law.

He added that Indian forces killed 12 Kashmiris last week in their brutalacts of violence and expressing deep concern over reports of shifting ofsenior women Kashmiri leaders from Mandoli Jail to notorious Tihar Jail inNew Delhi to exert additional psychological pressure on the families and tokeep them away from scrutiny.
