Bollywood actress Kajol breaks silence over sexual harassment in Indian film industry

MUMBAI – Bollywood stunning actress Kajol has broken silence over the issueof sexual harassment in the Indian film industry.

She confessed that sexual harassment is reality of film industry.

During a discussion, Kajol said, “What she speaks about is definitely thereality and I wouldn’t say it’s restricted to our industry. I think it’spretty much a concern all over, which ever field we talk about.”

“If it had happened in front of me, I’m sure I would have stood up or donesomething about it,” she added.

Earlier, former Miss Universe contestant Tanushree Dutta said she wassexually harassed by multi-award-winning Bollywood star Nana Patekar duringthe filming of the romantic comedy “Horn Ok Pleassss” in 2008.

Dutta, 37, said in a statement released Thursday that she had receivedlegal notices from Patekar and Agnihotri. “This is the price you pay forspeaking out against harassment, humiliation and injustice in India,” Duttasaid.
