NEW DELHI – India was frustrated as Pakistan forcefully raised the occupiedKahsmir issue in the OIC contact group meeting in New York.
India raised objections over Pakistan raking up the Kashmir issue at theOrganisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting, saying it is completely”unwarranted” for the grouping as well as its member countries to discussmatters related to India’s internal affairs in any multilateral set up.
However, to utter disappointment OIC raised the issue of the OccupiedKahsmir.
Pakistan raked up the Kashmir issue at the OIC Contact Group meeting heldWednesday on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.

“We always note with regret that the matter which is very internal toIndian affairs was again discussed at the OIC,” Ministry of ExternalAffairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar told reporters here when asked aboutPakistan raising the issue at the OIC meeting.
