Foreign Office responds to the FakhrAlam detention at Russian Airport

MOSCOW – Pakistan Foreign Office has responded over the request of thesinger Fakhr-e-Alam detained at Russian Airport.

FO while taking notice of the arrest of actor, singer and TV show hostFakhr-e-Alam who was “Mission Parwaaz” where he was going around the worldin 28 days after his visa expired, contacted the authorities in Russia.

In his tweet, foreign office spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said thatPakistan’s Ambassador to Russia has spoken to Fakher-e-Alam and he was alsoin touch with local authorities, adding that the problem will hopefully beresolved soon.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail had also directed the foreign office to contactto the singer and provide him with assistance.

He said that Pakistan’s Embassy in Russia was taking every possible step,and hoped that Alam’s mission would continue.
