British MPs snub India over brutalities in Occupied Kashmir

LONDON – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan will continueto support Kashmiris in their just struggle for right to selfdetermination.

Addressing an International Conference in London, he said Kashmir is theoldest dispute on the UN agenda.

The Foreign Minister said Indian rulers have been denying plebiscite inKashmir as promised by their past leaders.

He said India is using different tactics to change the demography of theheld Valley.

The Foreign Minister called upon international community to break itssilence over the ongoing atrocities and grave human rights violations inOccupied Kashmir.

He also urged international media to raise the ground realities in theIndian held Kashmir before the world.

Addressing the conference, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed said right toself-determination is the fundamental right of the people of OccupiedKashmir.

He said India is committing massacre of Kashmiris in the Occupied Kashmir.

Addressing the conference, Member British House of Lords, Sayeeda Warsisaid sexual violence in occupied Kashmir as a tool of war is most horrificand India is failing to fulfill its responsibility.

Labour MP and shadow British Foreign Minister Debbie Abrahams said we needto wake up international community to take interest in the issue of Kashmirand their right of self determination. He said India is a member ofcommonwealth and by its rule should respect human rights.

Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake said there is a special role for the UKgovernment in terms of the historic role that it has to play for resolvingthe Kashmir dispute.

Labour MP Sharron Debbie said Kashmir has become a horror story but peacecan never be achieved by violent means.

EX Prime Minister of Norway Kjell Magne Bondevick said Kashmir is thelongest lasting conflict where people are suffering and huge abuses havecreated refugee problem.

He said I visited Kashmir and was horrified to see the humanitariansituation.

Senator Nuzhat Sadiq said the world needs to know about Indian terrorism.
