ISLAMABAD – The British news agency Reuters says high-resolution satelliteimages show buildings which India claimed its warplanes had hit in Balakotkilling a large number of militants still standing at the site.
The images produced by Planet Labs, a San Francisco-based private satelliteoperator has shown at least six buildings on the site six days after theairstrike.
The image is virtually unchanged from an April 2018 satellite photo of thefacility.
There are no discernible holes in the roofs of buildings, no signs ofblown-out walls, displaced trees around the site or other signs of anaerial attack.

India’s foreign and defense ministries did not reply to emailed questionssent in the past few days seeking comment on what is shown in the satelliteimages and whether they undermine its official statements on the airstrikes.
