KABUL: The Indian police officials have claimed to have arrested a seniorgovernment official on charges of hiring sex worker.
The official identified as M. Omar Arian, the director internal audit inthe ministry of telecommunications and information technology, was arrestedin Calangute town of Goa. Arian was held along with another individual whohas been identified as Ajmal Hodan who is an advocate.
Calangute police inspector Nolasco Raposo has told local media outlets thetwo men had hired two Uzbekistan women for the purpose of prostitution withthe help of a pimp identified as sanjiv.
An offence has been under registered against the two men under Sections370, 380 (3) of IPC and Sections 4,5 and 7 of the Immoral Traffic(Prevention) Act.
