*ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal hastermed that India moved from occupation to annexation in Indian OccupiedKashmir (IoK).*
In a tweet on Tuesday, the FO spokesperson said this too shall fail.
“India moves from #occupationtoannexation in IoK. This too shall fail.#kashmirbleeds,” he tweeted.
Earlier, Pakistan summoned the *Indian High Commissioner*linktothe Foreign Office (FO) on Monday and recorded strong protest over Modigovernment’s announcement to abolish special status for Occupied Jammu andKashmir.
Rejecting new move of doing away with special status, the FO demanded towithdraw the recent announcements taken in IoK.
The Foreign Secretary conveyed Pakistan’s unequivocal rejection of theseillegal actions as they are in breach of international law and several UNSecurity Council resolutions.
The FS also condemned the preceding pre-meditated steps such as completelock-down of IOK, deployment of additional 180,000 troops, imposition ofcurfew, house arrest of Kashmiri leaders and suspension of communicationservices, among others.
