Islamabad: United States top envoy Zalmay Khalilzad held important meetingwith COAS General Qamar Bajwa.United States (US) Special Representative forAfghanistan Reconciliation Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad called on Chief ofthe Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), US SpecialRepresentative Zalmay Khalilzad met COAS today during his day-long visit inIslamabad.
The two sides discussed regional security situation along with Afghan peaceprocess.
Khalilzad also praised Pakistan’s role in maintaining peace and stabilityin the region.
Earlier today, the Special Representative met Foreign Minister Shah MehmoodQureshi in Islamabad where the two sides discussed progress on afghan peaceprocess along with regional security situation.
