As winter draws closer, Indianlinkparamilitaryforces are asking the residents living in various localities of Srinagarlink city especiallythe downtown areas to rentlink their properties tothe forces’ personnel, posted in the Valley.
The residents said that when they refused to do so they were harassed andasked to vacate their homes immediately. Tens of thousands of paramilitarypersonnel, including members of the CRPF and the BSF, were deployed in theValley in the days preceding the Modi governmentlink move to scrapArticle 370 on August link 5.
