DUBAI – World’s first ‘Al Quran Park’ opened in Dubai to showcase miraclesof Islam, UAE media has reported.
The world’ first ‘Al Quran Park’ opened in Dubai’s Al Khawaneej area onFriday (yesterday), it will provide the visitors with a chance to learnabout miracles mentioned in the Holy Quran.
The main objective of establishing the park is to provide bridges ofintellectual and cultural communication with different cultures, religionsand peoples to see the cultural achievements of Islam in the field of plantecology.
The park, which covers a wide area of 60-hectare, has all available plantsmentioned in the Holy Quran along with facilities such as an attractivemain entrance, an administration building, an Islamic garden, children’splay areas, Umrah corner, an outdoor theatre, areas for showing themiracles of the Quran.[image: Embedded video]link

A desert garden, a palm oasis, a lake, a running track, a cycling track anda sandy walking track are also constructed in the park.
A day before the inauguration, The Dubai Municipality had announced that itwill inaugurate the Quranic Park on March 29. The entry to the park will befree for all visitors.
Plan of the ‘Al Quran park’
The park comprises of 54 plants, which mentioned in the Holy Quran,including fig, pomegranate, olive, corn, leek, garlic, onion, lentil,barley, wheat, ginger, pumpkin, watermelon, tamarind, seders, vineyards,bananas, cucumbers and basil. I also have fountains, bathrooms, a glassbuilding, a desert garden, a palm oasis, a lake, a running track, a cyclingtrack and a sandy walking track.
The park is designed to give a better cultural and educationalunderstanding of Islamic heritage, while still being a fun place to visitfor children, families and those looking to learn more about the Qur’an.
