Diamer Bhasha Dam Fund Raising in South Africa, Pakistan squad to participate for unique gift auction

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has held DamRaising fund ceremony in South Africa along with Pakistan Cricket team.

Government has decided to auction a bat and ball signed by Prime MinisterImran Khan in South Africa to raise money for the Diamer Bhasha and Mohmanddams in South Africa.

PTI Senator Faisal Javed Khan announced the South African leg of the damfundraising campaign.

He said that the enthusiasm with which overseas Pakistanis have contributedto the dam fund is “really commendable”. He urged Pakistanis residing inSouth Africa to contribute towards the campaign, as the “time isn’t farwhen Pakistan’s water crisis will be curbed”.

The Pakistani cricket team has also been invited to the auctionand Pakistan’s stand-in captain Shoaib Malik, Muhammad Hafeez, Hasan Ali,Shadab Khan, Imam-ul-Haq and Usman Shinwari are among those expected toattend.
