PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf, after news surfaced in the media, has expressedhis intention to inquire about the business contracts of players and chiefselectors. According to details, after allegations of financial interestsin the Pakistan cricket team’s management company emerged, Zaka Ashraf hasgiven an ultimatum to investigate the business contracts of players andchief selectors, suggesting that legislation will be enacted in this regard.

Zaka Ashraf stated that such business contracts can lead to conflicts ofinterest within the team, and questions will be asked of the chiefselectors, and legislation will be put in place in this regard.

He also mentioned that legislation should be established regarding players’agents, especially when an agent represents multiple players, as it maylead to conflicts of interest. Business contracts and agents are seriousissues that need to be addressed.

Zaka Ashraf urged everyone to support the team as long as the World Cup isongoing, as some individuals criticize the team on TV instead of providingsupport. He pointed out that criticism on television by players has been arecurring issue, and after the World Cup ends, errors should be commentedupon.
