MOSCOW – A Mi-35 helicopter of the Senegallink Armed Forces andoperating under the leadership of the UNlink peacekeepingmission in the Central African Republiclinkcrashedin the western part of the Central African Republiclink (car link), killing three people, the head ofthe mission, Mankeur Ndiaye, said on Friday.
“With great sorrow, I’ve learned about the crash of a Senegallink Armed Forceshelicopter at the time of landing in [the town of] Bouarlink [in CAR], in whichthree people were killed and one was injuredlink,” Ndiaye wrote onTwitter link.
According to the DakarActu news link portal,the Mi-35 helicopter was returning fromlink a combat operation.
The Senegalese army link saidit was in contact with the United Nationslink with regardsto evacuating the victim and the bodies of those killed in the accidentlink.
