KARACHI – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Amir Liquat Hussain has hitout at PM Imran Khan top saying that father of the Nation Quaid e Azam iswaiting for his son to come at his tomb for paying respect but PM has notcome to Karachi after taking oath.
He lashed out at party leadership for showing ‘neglect’ in catering theneeds of people in Karachi, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan ignoredleadership of the provincial capital over nominations for Speaker andDeputy Speaker post.
“The person who made the Muhajirs trust in Imran Khan, the one who madethem believe that he was their leader and saviour, are you (Imran) not evenwilling to listen to the reservations of that person?” Liaquat complainedwhile addressing a gathering in Karachi.
He further complained that despite becoming PM due to support of the peopleof Karachi, PM Imran has not paid a visit to the Mazar-e-Quaid.
“It has been 11 days since Khan’s election as PM and he has not visitedKarachi. Quaid-e-Azam awaits his son (Imran). I am here to remind Khan ofhis commitments,” a fired-up Liaquat said.
Talking about reports of him parting ways with the PTI, Liaquat said thathe would not leave the party because he considers chairman Imran Khan ashis leader.
“Imran Khan is my leader. No one can make me quit PTI. But I also have theresponsibility to demand fulfillment of promises.”
