LAHORE – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has referred thePunjab Companies case to NAB and ordered to recover the hefty salary amountfrom CEOs within ten days.
A three member bench headed by the chief justice heard the Punjab Companiescase at Supreme Court Lahore Registry. The Punjab chief secretary, the NABdirector general and the chief executive officers (CEOs) of all PunjabCompanies were present in the court.
The CJP also heard the illegal appointment case of Lahore College of WomenUniversity Vice Chancellor Dr Uzma and dismissed her from the post. Heordered appointment of a senior professor as a provisional VC andappointment of permanent one within one month.
