ISLAMABAD – Greatest ever Squash Player Jehangir Khan reveals his favouritecricket players, a little surprise.

Pakistan sports legend Jahangir Khan picked Indian batting maestro ViratKohli and Aussie pace spearhead Mitchell Starc as his favourite cricketersat the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019.

“In batting I would say Virat Kohli and in bowling I would say MitchellStarc,” said Jahangir, while talking to Pakistan bowling great Wasim Akram,quoted ICC.

Jahangir dominated the world of squash in 1980s and 90s, he won the WorldOpen six times and the British Open a record ten times. From 1981 to 1986,he was unbeaten in competitive play and boosts a record of winning 555matches consecutively, the longest winning streak by any athlete intop-level professional sports.

Speaking about his professional accomplishments, Jahangir said that it washis intensive training and hard work that paved the way for his records.

“To be honest, I would like to say that it was all hard work as I nevermeant to make any kind of record, but whenever I was playing in theprofessional circuit I always wanted to do the best and like to be numberone and perform well as well.

“I think that was really kept me going all the time, and I was more focusedmore discipline and I was doing routine training eight hours a day, I thinkthat really paid off,” said Jahangir.
