BEIJING – Pakistan and China have held the fourth round of joint stafftalks and discussed proposals to further cement future defence and militarycooperation between the two countries.
Director-General Joint Staff (DG JS), Lt Gen Malik Zafar Iqbal led thePakistani side while Chinese Defence Ministry’s Office for InternationalMilitary Cooperation, Maj Gen Ci Guowei led chinese delegation during thetalks held in Beijing.
The two sides also reviewed the progress on the ongoing cooperation betweenthe militaries of two countries.
Meanwhile, the Director-General, Joint Staff also held an important meetingwith Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff Department of China’s Central MilitaryCommission (CMC) Major General Shao Yuanming and discussed strategicrelations.
They exchanged views on further consolidating defence cooperation betweenthe two sides.
