In a positive development, PTI government drastically cuts petroleum prices across country

ISLAMABAD – Federal government of Pakistan seek massive reduction inPetroleum products, here on Friday.

According to the details, the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) onFriday submitted a summary to the petroleum division recommending adecrease in prices.

The summary advised that the prices of petroleum products should bedecreased by at least Rs7.30 per liter starting from March 1.

According to sources, the regulatory authority has forwarded a summary tothe petroleum division suggesting a cut of at least Rs5.89 in the petrolprices.

The summary also recommended reducing the price of high-speed diesel (HSD)by Rs 7.30 per liter.

The Ministry for Finance will consider the recommendations of the OGRA onSaturday, and make its decision accordingly.
