ISLAMABAD – The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FPCCI) said resumption of British Airways operations for Pakistan is abreakthrough which will improve the country’s image.
In a statement, FPCCI Vice President Karim Aziz Malik said internationalcommunity is recognizing Pakistan’s potential as a new and good investmentdestination.
Applauding the services of special assistant to Prime Minister on overseasPakistanis Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari, he said that the credit of BritishAirways’ return to Pakistan goes to Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari.
He also lauded the steps taken by Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari to boostremittances, which is the lifeline for the national economy, as overseasPakistanis are sending over 20 billion dollars through the proper channel.
