KARACHI: Pakistan Navy with strong air support from PAF send a sternwarning to India with live missile hitting enemy mock targets in ArabianSea.
Pakistan Navy is conducting Operational Exercise RIBAT-2019 to reviewoperational preparedness of Pakistan Navy.
To consolidate Fleet Fire Power, successful live missile firings were alsoheld from surface and air platforms during the exercise, affirming theimpressive war fighting capabilities of Pakistan Navy.
Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi witnessed themissiles firings and expressed his utmost satisfaction on the operationalreadiness of Pakistan Navy. He also reaffirmed the resolve that PakistanNavy is ready to defend its sea frontiers and would give a befittingresponse to any misadventure by the adversary.
A spokesperson of Pakistan Navy said the exercise is aimed at validatingvarious operational concepts and tactical war fighting procedures includingjoint operations involving all Pakistan Navy’s Field Commands as well asPakistan Air Force.
During the Exercise RIBAT, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force units areparticipating in maritime operations in various domains under complex greyhybrid warfare environment. Concurrently, Pakistan Marines and SpecialOperation Forces (SOFs) are also rehearsing special operations includingCoastal Defence, Air Defence and Maritime Interdiction Operations etc.
The spokesperson said the exercise displays Pakistan Navy’s intent tomaintain highest state of readiness and combat potential to ensure seawarddefense and protection of maritime interests of Pakistan during peace andwar.
