LAHORE – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) arranged an amnesty schemeawareness session in which Pakistani artists were directed to declare theirassets.
The session was held at Karachi’s regional tax office where the officialsshared the advantages of the amnesty scheme, its procedure, the rate of taxand fines.
During the meeting, the In-Land Revenue Chief Commissioner Badaruddin AhmedQureshi had stated that models, film and TV artistes will go throughdisciplinary action if they disclose their assets.
He also shared that the FBR has collected data of bank accounts andproperties and requested the showbiz personalities to pay their taxes. Thesession was also attended by a number of celebrities including NadiaHussain, Urwa Hocane, Farhan Saeed, Neelam Muneer, Zeba Shehnaz and others.
