ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and former captain ofPakistan cricket team Imran Khan on Wednesday felicitated Afghanistan onwinning ICC 2018 World Cup qualification tournament.
The tournament was held in Zimbabwe.
Khan took to popular microblogging website Twitter and posted the followingmessage:
“Congratulations to Afghanistan captain Asghar Stanikzai & the AfghanCricket team for winning the ICC 2019 World Cup qualification tournament inHarare. It is a remarkable achievement for a country ravaged by decades ofwar & with limited cricket grounds”
