Iran has extended condolences to Pakistan following the tragic killing ofnine of its laborers on Iranian soil. The Iranian envoy to Pakistanstrongly condemned the attacks on Pakistani laborers in his officialstatement, emphasizing the mutual commitment of Tehran and Islamabad toprevent any harm to their brotherly relations.
Expressing solidarity, the envoy declared that Iran and Pakistan standunited against any attempts by enemies to undermine their countries’ closeties.
This affirmation of joint determination came in response to the recentincident where unidentified assailants fatally shot nine Pakistaninationals and injured three others in the outskirts of Saravan city,located in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
Among the victims were five individuals from various areas of Alipur inPunjab province, who had been employed in Iran for the past decade. Thetragedy prompted Pakistan’s envoy to Tehran to use X (formerly Twitter) asa platform to condemn the “horrifying killings” and urge Iran tocollaborate fully with Pakistani authorities in addressing this distressingmatter.
