TEHRAN – Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council AliShamhani described as suspicious US decision to transfer remaining of Daeshterrorists to Afghanistan.
US has never been benefactor for Afghan people, Shamkhani said in a meetingwith Hamid Karzai, Former President of Afghanistan.
He referred to US dual behavior as regard fighting terrorism, saying the USpresence in the region is one of the main factors of instability andinsecurity in the region.
Meanwhile, Karzai pointed to Iran honest support of Iran, saying Afghanpeople and government are certain that Iran will play effective role inmaintaining peace process.
During his one-day tour to Afghanistan, Shamkhani also visited ChiefExecutive of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah and some other Afghan officials.

He made the visit at the invitation of National Security Adviser ofAfghanistan Hamdullah Mohib.
Enhancing political, economic and security relations, countering terrorismand organized crimes, and border and regional cooperation are among thegoals of Shamkhani’s visit to Afghanistan.
