ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) gives important instructions tofederal government over former President Pervaiz Musharraf high treasoncase.
IHC has stopped the Special Court from announcing its verdict reserved inhigh treason case against former President General retired Pervez Musharraf.
Accepting interior ministry’s petition, IHC’s larger bench, headed by ChiefJustice Athar Minallah, suspended notification of the Special Court.
The IHC has directed the federal government to appoint a new prosecutor inthe treason case by 5th of the next month.
