ISLAMABAD – Overseas Pakistanis get a good news from the PTI government.
The government has decided to put an end to National Identity Card forOverseas Pakistanis (NICOP).
This decision was taken after the recommendation of Special Assistant toPrime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari. Spokespersonof Ministry of Overseas Pakistani said the decision had been approved bythe Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Now Overseas Pakistani can travel to Pakistan without requiring a visa.

The decision in this regard was first taken in October during a meetingchaired by PM Khan after a briefing given to him by the Ministry ofOverseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.
The PM announced that the government would soon unveil a special incentivespackage aimed at encouraging the overseas Pakistanis to transferremittances through banking channels.
