Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis 100 days report reveals stunning performance

ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis has made laudable performancein the first 100 days of the PTI government.

Ministry on Tuesday sent its performance report to Prime Minister ImranKhan.

The report was dispatched by Special Assistant to Prime Minister onOverseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari.

According to the report, the pension for old age citizens has beenincreased 20 percent. The pension has been increased from Rs5250 to Rs6500and the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) conditionhas been also abolished for the overseas Pakistanis.

The report further stated that Qatar has promised to open visa centers inDecember this year and the government’s pledge to provide 100,000 jobswould be fulfilled with the opening of visa centers.

The ministry has launched new website, the report said and addede-governance and biometric system has also been introduced in the ministry.

The work on setting up special courts for the protection of the lives andproperties of overseas Pakistanis is underway.
