ISLAMABAD – Sharif family lands in big trouble as the Supreme Court hastaken up the NAB appeal in Rs 1.2 billion Hudabiya Papers Mills case.
The Supreme Court on Friday fixed October 29 as the date for hearing ofNational Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) review petition regarding HudaibiyaPaper Mills case, a private TV channel reported.
A three-judge special bench headed by Justice Mushir Alam and comprisingJustice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel will hear the reviewpetition. Justice Asif Saeed Khosa had directed that the Hudaibiya PaperMills case be reopened during the hearing of the Panama Papers case.
On December 15, 2017, a three-member Supreme Court bench headed by JusticeMushir Alam had dismissed NAB’s appeal to reopen the Hudaibiya Paper Millscase. NAB had then filed an appeal against the decision.
