LONDON – Pakistani government has asked the United Kingdom to seizeAvenfield apartments owned by sons of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif,private media has reported.
As per the media report, UK Central Authority (UKCA) has asked Pakistan formore information.
PM special assistant Barrister Shahzad Akbar told Pakistani media here thata request was submitted with the UKCA in which Pakistan asked the Britishgovernment to enforce the judgement of a Pakistani accountability court inthis regard.
He said the British government has asked for further information whichPakistan is working to provide. “The Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) requestis with the British government on Avenfield flats.”
