ISLAMABAD – The deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif has appeared beforethe accountability court for the hearing of remaining corruption referencehim and his family on Thursday.
According to details, Judge Arshad Malik was hearing the Al-Azizia SteelMills and Flagship Investment corruption references against the Sharifs.
As the hearing underway, Nawaz’s counsel, Khawaja Haris continued tocross-examine investigation officer Mehboob Alam.
On Tuesday, Haris completed the cross-examination of Panamagate jointinvestigation team (JIT) head and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) starwitness Wajid Zia. The ex-premier was also exempted from appearing in courtfor two days on account of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz’s death and directed toappear today.
