ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court has rejected Sharif family lawyer appeal ofextending the Accountability Court cases deadline till December 15.
SX extended the period of accountability court Islamabad by six weeks toconclude Flagship investment and Al-Azizya Steel Mills references againstformer prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.
A three member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Mian SaqibNisar heard the petition on Monday seeking extension in time ofaccountability court to conclude the two references.
Nawaz Sharif’s consul Khawaja Harris seeks extension to the duration ofcases till December 15.
However, the court rejected his appeal and ordered to conclude the cases insix weeks.
