ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken notice of currentdisproportionate price hike and ineffectiveness of the systems to controlit.
In a letter, the Prime Minister Office has directed provincial chiefsecretaries, including chief secretary Islamabad, to launch a specialcampaign to control price hike in the country.
Under the campaign, a strategy will be devised by all concernedstakeholders to implement price control laws effectively from the wholesalemarkets to retail shops.
Market Control Committees will be made more effective to take stern actionsagainst the perpetrators under law.
