ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is smelling yet another NRO forthe Sharif family and has retaliated back hard to such rumours.
PTI made it clear that they wouldn’t accept any new National ReconciliationOrder (NRO) pertaining to ongoing graft cases against the Sharif family.
Sources privy to development told our correspondent that PTI chief presidedover extra-ordinary huddle at his residence here in Bani Gala today. Theleaders expressed strong reservations over rumors that Nawaz Sharif wouldbe allowed to travel abroad.
In a statement released by PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry, party assertedthat Prime Minister Abbasi’s statement pertaining to negotiations withstate-institutions was highly perilous.
“Apart from unbiased and equal imposition of law, PTI wouldn’t accept anyother alternative solution. Nawaz Sharif should be treated like all thoseothers citizens who are indulged in similar crimes”, asserted thespokesperson.
The party also expressed strong concerns over plummeting economicindicators. PTI—in today’s huddle—decided to constitute ‘media economiccommittee’ under supervision of Asad Umar and comprising senator ShibliFaraz and Umar Ayub.
