ANKARA – Turkey began the largest naval drill in its history withparticipation of over one hundred vessels in all three seas surrounding thecountry.
The four-day drill, dubbed “Blue Homeland 2019,” are being held in theBlack Sea, the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean.
The flotilla includes thirteen frigates, six corvettes, sixteen assaultboats, and seven submarines, seven mine hunting vessels, fourteen patrolboats, as well as other navy vessels.
