Saudi Arabia has reshuffled some of the top military officers and Deputy Ministers.
In a series of Royal decrees, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz replaced the chief of staff by First Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed al-Ruwayli.
Lt Gen Fahd Bin Turki, commander of the Land Forces, was appointed as commander of the Joint Forces whereas Major General Fahd Al-Mutahir has been appointed Commander of the Land Forces.
Maj Gen Jarallah Al-Olwait was appointed as commander of the Strategic Missiles Force.
Maj Gen Muzaid Al-Amr has been promoted to Lt. Gen. and appointed as commander of Air Defense Forces.
