President Dr. Arif Alvi has assured to provide all facility to the Pharmaceutical industry to provide cheaper medicines to the people.
He was talking to a delegation of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association which called on him in Karachi on Saturday.
The President said government is committed to provide inexpensive and quality medicines to the people.
Federal Minister for National Health Services Aamir Mehmood Kiyani and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail said special attention is being paid on health sector to bring positive changes in the lives of people.
He asked the drugs manufacturing companies to extend cooperation to the government for provision of the best medical facilities to the people.

Meanwhile, President Dr. Arif Alvi has expressed grave concern over inordinate delay in the rehabilitation of recent affectees of encroachment drive in Karachi.
He was presiding over a meeting at Governor House in Karachi this evening.
During the meeting, the problems faced by the encroachment drive affectees were discussed and reviewed in detail.
