KABUL – An explosion hit an area of the Afghan capital Kabul on Saturdaynear many foreign embassies and government buildings, Reuters reportersheard.
It was not immediately clear whether there were any casualties from theblast, which comes a week after a deadly attack on the IntercontinentalHotel in the city.
The law enforcement agencies have reached at the site of the bomb blast andthe initial rescue services are being provided to the injured.
Afghan capital security was tightened after the deadly blast at theIntercontinental Hotel however the security lapses have once again surfacedwhich gave terrorists opportunity to hit the capital yet again.
