RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Fridayhas signed black warrants of 14 hardcore terrorists awarded death sentenceby the Military Courts.
COAS confirmed death sentences awarded to 14 hardcore terrorists,Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.
The terrorists were involved in heinous offences related to terrorism, i.e.attacking Armed Forces/ Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, killing ofinnocent civilians and destruction of educational institutions/ PakistanTourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Hotel Malam Jabba, Swat.

According to the ISPR, the terrorists were involved in killing of 22persons including three civilians, 19 Armed Forces/Frontier Constabulary/Police Officials and injuring 23 others. Arms and explosives were alsorecovered from their possession.
