ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited NorthWaziristan District on Wednesday.
According to ISPR, he was briefed on security situation, border management,progress of development works and rehabilitation of Temporarily DisplacedPeople in the district.
Expressing his satisfaction, the Army Chief directed for continued focus onstability operations and socio-economic development to achieve enduringpeace.
While interacting with troops, he commended officers and men for theircourage, dedication and spirit of sacrifice and said that we shall neverallow the reign of terror to return. He said it is time for Waziristan andother new districts to flourish and progress.
