ISLAMABAD – Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), GeneralZubair Mahmood Hayat will visit Srilanka on the invitation of Sri LankanChief of Defence Staff, Admiral R.C. Wijegunaratne from June 27 to 30, thePakistan High Commission at Colombo said in a statement Tuesday.
During his four-day visit, General Zubair will pay a courtesy call on SriLankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Chief of Defence Staff, DefenceSecretary, Commanders of Sri Lanka Army, Navy and Air Force.
In his meetings with Sri Lankan political and military hierarchy, he willdiscuss matters of mutual understanding and cooperation, the statement said.
